Part of fine flint bracelet probably Predynastic to-3rd Dynasty. A similar bracelet of the first dynasty was found at Buto see Schmidt, Klaus in Edwin CM van den Brink, 1992. 'Such pieces are known from several sites and seem to be restricted to the Early Dynastic Petrie. Perhaps the Old Kingdom context of this particular fragment is secondary. A workshop of these artefacts is said to have been located in Wadi el-Sheikh'. Gift from University of Wales Aberystwyth. See Needler, W.
