Fragment of 'sanitary' wallpaper, engraved roller printed in blue with a pattern of climbing poppies, cornflowers, roses, harebells and chrysanthemums, printed 'Sanitary Paperhangings RY THE "MAYENCE" in the selvedge. The wallpaper was originally part of a 'sandwich' of papers used in The Old Manor House, 53 Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, and was made in England c.1870-1900.
