Description: Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, double running and satin stitch. The sampler is made up of twelve horizontal bands of repeat border patterns and three rows of lettering which read 'PHEBE BVNN IS MY NAME/AND WITH MY NEEDLE I W/RATT THIS SAME 1658'.
