Middle section of bifacial knife. Brownish-pink. 48x45x08mm. Petrie Museum distribution list states that this is an unstratified find. From Armant. It could date from the Old Kingdom to the Middle Kingdom or possibly later. A complete byfacial knife was found at el-Ashmunein dating to the Third Intermediate Period (Spencer, A.J. 1993, 'Excavations at el-Ashmunein III. The Town' London, pp.31, 33, pl. 27, pl.29).
