Faience Nefertum amulet of god standing with back pillar. 2.4cm high. Nefertum was the god of the lotus flower and is usually shown with a lotus flower upon his head. Amulets of Nefertum first occur from the Third Intermediate Period (Lacovara et al 2001, 'The Collector's Eye....' p146).
