Fragment of linen shroud decorated with painting of kneeling woman. The women appears to be mourning. She may be Isis or Nephthys (probably Isis). The kneeling woman is similar to that shown in EC176. 36cm high.This is part of a woman's shroud dating to the second century AD. At this period deceased women were often associated with Hathor, rather than Osiris. The coils of Hathor's hair can be seen on the right.
