Pair of Vases

Cylindrical vases, slightly inverted at the rim and feet rim. Decorated on a gros bleu ground with one either side two panels, one with a coat-of-arms of John Bowes surrounded by scrollwork of flowers in gilt. The other side with the initials of John Bowes similarly surrounded. Mounted in gilt-bronze with handles, lip rim and plinth. Size: 27.8 cm. X.1452
