A shallow, shaped oval dish. The whole raised on an oval footrim. Edged to rim decorated with four moulded ridges, with each end terminating in a feathery scroll; all picked out in gold. Below each of the four sets of scrolls is a pheasant-like bird in a tree, painted in enamel colours. Detached insects are painted randomly across the dish.
