Figure of a Goddess

She is wearing an elaborate headdress and her robe has cuffed sleeves and an undergarment, which extends to her feet. Round her neck beads, on her bosom an knotted ribbon and clasped ornament. In her right hand she holds a scroll, her left hand is held upwards in a graceful gesture. The figure has been garishly decorated overall at a later date, probably the late 19th century. Size: Height: 35 cm.
