Numismatic collection is a newly established collection and the organizational unit of the City Museum of Zenica.
It consists of three collections:
1.coins collection,
2.paper money collection and
3.medals collection.
This collection was formed by the separating money collection out of Historic permanent exhibition in 2011, according to a new internal organization and the needs of the museum and modern trends in museography.
The collection currently counts about 300 pieces of coins and paper money (from the time of the Roman Empire to the notes from the period 1992-1995), and dozens of different medallions and medals with a tendency to increase.
Concept and exhibits selection was created by Ikbal Cogo, senior curator.
