Guided tour of Tilyen Mucik’s photography exhibition: Seeds at the Loža Gallery in Koper

Years ago, a fascination with tiny seeds and their diverse forms led visual artist Tilyen Mucik to document them as she catalogued her collection. This interest soon developed into the extensive photography project Seeds, which brings together countless seeds of every shape and colour, from near and far, found or grown by the artist or given to her by friends and acquaintances. Mucik has recently expanded the series with new works and plant subjects, placing them at the centre of our gaze: each, with its own history and symbolism, evokes the interconnectedness and interdependence of the human and plant worlds. You can learn more about the project during the guided tour led by Tilyen Mucik on Wednesday 9 September 2026 at 19.00. The exhibition, organised with the Fotografija Gallery in Ljubljana, has been extended until 10 October 2026. More information at the link …
