Atatürk Kongre ve Etnografya Müzesi

The Ataturk Congress & Ethnography Museum in Silvas was constructed as a government building in the 1880s and in 1919, became the home base of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Turkey's first president.

During his leadership the building was converted to a school in 1924 and functioned as such until 1981 until opening as a museum in 1983. Also the home of Silvas Congress, the museum remains an example of Baroque-style Ottoman architecture. It houses displays including weapons, coins, plates an prayer rugs.
