Galerija Hest

Gallery Hest is one of the leading art galleries on the Slovenian market. It was opened in 1989 in Maribor, and has got its own branch in Ljubljana since 1993. The gallery, whose name is a recognizable one on the Slovenian art market, has a long tradition in the field of sales and works of art. It is also well known for organizing various exhibitions as well as its consultancy in selecting the art equipment. Years of experience, professional staff and a wide range of various works of art are only few examples of what gives the gallery an opportunity to be placed along the side with the leading galleries in Slovenia.

Our collection covers a wide range of works from the established artists of older generations to the young ones. Since the very beginnings, various Slovenian classics (impressionists, expressionists ...) and the middle generation of artists who have left a visible trace on the Slovenian art scene are available at the gallery. In 2002, the gallery expanded its offer with the opening of the Gallery Hest 35, which represents the young generation of Slovenian artists.

The function of both galleries is based on the principles of quality and diversity. Artworks that are in offer range in price from 50 euros up to the value of the collectors. The selection of authors is carefully and meticulously thought out. In this way you are able to find the piece of art which suits your taste.
