Our museum holds the legacy of Second World War and partisan fight in Northern Italy across Gothic Line.
The permanent exhibition shows a path from fascism, through fascist war (1940/1943) to civil war (1943/1945) and liberation.
It uses a modern design and an actualizing museography.
Free zone in July 1944 becomes an original point of view on Europe occupied by Nazis and on  different kinds of opposition against them.
As a "Partisan Republic", it is also a deep root of post-war democratic Constitution.
Museo della Repubblica di Montefiorino e della Resistenza Italiana is part of various national and international networks and it is going to become the main hub of a local open air museum.
