Centre Pompidou Málaga

Málaga is the launching partner of the new concept of temporary Centre Pompidou (Centre Pompidou provisoire). The “Centre Pompidou Málaga” is intended to be a laboratory and pilot project. Over the next few years, it will settle into an existing building, the “Cubo”, and offer the public a selection of masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou’s collection, a programme of exhibitions and multi-disciplinary experiences as well as exhibitions and workshops dedicated to younger audiences.

The “Centre Pompidou provisoire”, draws from the Centre Pompidou’s museum expertise, multi-disciplinary cultural programming and paedagogical tools, especially those geared towards families and younger audiences. Their aim is to become an interface between society and creation, in order to make today’s art accessible to the widest possible audience.
