Isaac Kaplan Old Yishuv Court Museum

The history of the Jewish community in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem from the beginning of the 15th century until the fall of the Quarter in the War of Independence.

The museum displays the way of life of the old Yishuv in Jerusalem (19th century). The communal court, used for washing and baking, the house where the ARI (Rabbi Yitzhak Lurie Ashkenazi) was born and the synagogue of Rabbi Haim Ben Atar – Or Ha-Hayim (The Light of Life)
