On display in Giovanni Andrea Doria’s Renaissance villa you can find the maritime collections related to Genoa and the Riviere from the 15th to 19th century.
You will admire precious maps, paintings, drawings, ship models, shipyard and nautical instruments, as well as “visit” the old shipyards and the artisans’ workshops related to the maritime world.
To be especially noted are the material-culture testimonies of Liguria’s sailors and shipwrights.
