Near Krško is a place called Brestanica, once Rajhenburg, where Rajhenburg Castle is located. The museum has three permanent exhibitions at the castle: The Trappist Order in Rajhenburg, Penal Institutions at Rajhenburg Castle 1948-1966 and Slovene Deportees 1941-1945. The museum exhibits are related to the history of the place and offer an insight into the history of the activities of the Trappist monks, the fate of Slovenian deportees and the time when various penal institutions operated at the castle.
