The exhibition Narratives of Resistance focuses on little-noticed conflicts between governments and specific populations – the large-scale lithium mining in northern Portugal, the battle over the Adivasi territory in central India, and the environmental challenges facing Nepal in the Chitwan region. The artists document, partly with fictional narrative strategies, the social and political uprisings against land grabbing, resource exploitation and the ongoing violation of human rights.
