The Carinthian plebiscite made a painful cut in the history of Slovenes, as it led to a paradoxical outcome, at least at first glance. The territory of voting zone A, where 70% of the population was Slovene, belonged to Austria: 59% of voters voted for it.
The exhibition shows the entire course of events from the collapse of the monarchy to the Carinthian plebiscite on October 10, 1920. It is a display of a revolutionary period, a time when history "condenses" and individual wrong decisions or missed opportunities irreversibly affect the fate of the masses.
Shhh! Due to the secret nature of this data, we cannot disclose everything in this invitation, so we'd like you to join us at the opening of our permanent exhibition.
