THE EXHIBITION OF THE 18TH INTERNATIONAL KAUNAS BONE CHINA SYMPOSIUM

This exhibition reminds the theatre of magical porcelain. Well-known things and nature objects are transformed into a new, fragile, almost weightless state. Everything is possible with a luxury material - tomatoes combine well with digital audio players, chess player‘s memory gains three dimensions, elegant accessories – bow-ties and butterflies do not serve as garment details but join an unusual collection.

The exhibits have been made due to creative and technological experiments during the three-week porcelain symposium.

The participants of the symposium are: Aleksandra Kazanina, Jana Zgun - artists from Estonia; Rudis Petersons and Agnese Sunepa from Latvia; Rūta Junutytė, Rūta Indriūnaitė, Ieva Bertašiūtė-Grosbaha, Eglė Steponavičė – the ceramics artists from Lithuania, as well as students and teachers from the applied ceramics section at Vilnius Art Academy.

The project manager – doc. Remigijus Sederavičius
