"In a Field of Light" – the exhibition of Leonas Strioga‘s sculptures and drawings

Strioga's creation is a rare mix of modern and ethnic archaics. It unites the artist‘s personal experiences, childhood retrospective, a new gaze on the verge of extinction values.

Serving only one muse - sculpture, L. Strioga was always looking for optimal mastery dimensions, individual characters, peculiar plastic forms. The sculptor has come across a unique wood chopping technique on textural vibrating surfaces which is equivalent to the impressionistic brush.
