Arsenic and top level research. Paul Ehrlich and the beginnings of a new medicine

Paul Ehrlich was a life scientist par excellence: his interdisciplinary research touched aspects of histology and color chemistry, pharmacology, immunology and cancer research. For the 100^th anniversary of Ehrlich’s death the exhibition traces his work and ideas and chases his visionary thoughts in present times. Historic objects come from the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in Langen, from the Georg Speyer Haus at the original location and from New Yorker Rockefeller Archive Center, which stores the majority of Ehrlich’s heritage.
