Arsenic and top level research. Paul Ehrlich and the beginnings of a new medicine

Paul Ehrlich was a life scientist par excellence: his interdisciplinary research touched aspects of histology and color chemistry, pharmacology, immunology and cancer research. For the 100th anniversary of Ehrlich’s death the exhibition traces his work and ideas and chases his visionary thoughts in present times. Historic objects come from the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in Langen, from the Georg Speyer Haus at the original location and from New Yorker Rockefeller Archive Center, which stores the majority of Ehrlich’s heritage.
