Exhibition- by Amanda Anderson 29 November – 4 January Bringing a kaleidoscope of colour to mid-winter Amanda Anderson’s mosaic menagerie of birds and other creatures have a bright, rich and seductive quality, as well as a subtle humour. Amanda Anderson is a West Midlands based mosaic maker who originally studied sculpture at Liverpool School of Art working in mixed media. She uses stained glass in vibrant colours, jewel like millefiori and patterned ceramic pieces intricately cut to represent feathers, scales and fur. Her other influences include, Gaudi, Mexican folk art, embroidery and Asian textiles, Eastern European paper cuts, children’s book illustration and traditional tales. All work for sale.
