Heritage Open Days 2014: Haslemere Educational Museum

Haslemere Educational Museum was founded in 1888 by the renowned surgeon Sir Jonathan Hutchinson and moved to its present site on the High Street in 1926, one of the town's ancient burgage houses, rebuilt and extended over the last 4 centuries. The three main galleries were added in 1926. You can learn more about the history of this wonderful award winning museum in the exhibition and find out more about the historic market town of Haslemere by taking part in the town heritage trail!
