ONOMA, the Cooperative of Artisans, Designers and Artists in Fiskars, spreads joy to the Craft Museum of Finland in summer 2014.
The New Joy exhibition will display hand-made Finnish works by over 30 members of the co-operative. They will all present in their works their own interpretation of the theme, joy. The works communicate joy through a play of different materials, shapes and colours. Some works involve joy as part of the process of their creation, while others draw joy from making things together and from community spirit.
ONOMA members are linked together by the old Fiskars ironworks. Its premises offer living quarters and workspace for professionals from approximately 40 fields, ranging from architects to visual artists and from cabinet makers to ceramic artists. ONOMA members participating in the exhibition:

New Joy will fill the exhibition space of the Craft Museum of Finland on two floors. The mini shop on street level gives you a chance to purchase products made by ONOMA members to bring home or as gifts. Come and shop with joy!
