Inkers is a group of printmakers based in West Yorkshire, who work both independently and together as a group. The principal aim of coming together as a group is to promote new work, share skills, and gain support and stimulation through interaction and shared activities, printmakers who through collective activity develop their skill base, improve their professional standing, and raise the profile of printmaking regionally.
The group will be working on a residency at the Industrial Museum during 2013. Members are looking forward to working from the collections, buildings, and archives, producing an exciting exhibition in a variety of printmaking media, reflecting their responses to the stimuli they encounter and the social history they represent. This prominent art group look forward to meeting visitors during the process, and during the exhibition. Look out for dates on our events pages during the year when you can view and chat to the artists in situ creating their work.
