Seven Billion Two Hundred and One Million Nine Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand and Two Hundred and Thirty-Eight

Gavin Turk is one of the most respected artists who came to prominence in the wave of interest in the British Art scene of the early 1990’s, collectively known as the YBA’s. His notoriety came early in his career when he was refused a degree from the Royal College for exhibiting a single work Cave, purchased by Charles Saatchi, who later included Turk in the infamous ‘Sensation’ exhibition at the Royal Academy and other venues. This exhibition explores his work in neon.
