Europe’s earliest cave paintings: were Neanderthals artists?

Speaker: Dr Alistair Pike, University of Southampton . New dating of Palaeolithic cave paintings in Spain has shown that the tradition of decorating caves is at least 15,000 years older than previously thought, and dates to at least 40,000 years ago.
