James is interested in the V&A building itself, and by exploring hidden and behind-the-scenes spaces, aims to bring to life the building’s fascinating history. In his studio you can find the spoils of his adventures around the Museum (including a great collection of V&A paint colours), hear the stories he has collected along the way, and see drawings and preparatory work for his ceramic pieces.
