Adventures in Music - Nice Warm Socks and Other Songs with Wren Music

A music workshop for the Under 5s and their carers. Come and have fun and join in with this concert led by two of the finest folk music performers and song leaders in the South West. Sarah and Paul from Wren Music will bring songs from projects they have been involved with - from the hugely popular Nice Warm Socks to the more recent Songbox - as well as new tunes for you to enjoy. There will be audience participation including singing and a chance to make an instant band! Wren Music will provide some instruments, but please bring along your own as well if you have them. Anything from a shhooshhing shakers, tinkling tambourines or strummed stringy things are welcome! Voices will be accompanied by a variety of instruments including guitar, piano accordion and fiddle. This one-off performance will also feature songs from the traditional Westcountry archive made by Sabine Baring-Gould as well as newly written pieces - we'll probably even make up a new song or two at the event! All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
