Londinium Calling: The Story of Roman London

This talk will explore the founding of the Roman settlement of Londinium on the banks of the Thames, established on the current site of today’s City of London in 1st century AD. Caroline McDonald, Senior Curator of Prehistoric and Roman Collections at the Museum of London, will unveil some of the site’s most significant excavations. This includes recent work and the amazing discoveries on the site of the lost Walbrook river, which ran between two hills.
