The Roman Villa at Itter Crescent & the Fane Road Heritage Lottery Project

Recent excavations by Oxford Archaeology East uncovered a spectacular Roman villa under Peterborough allotments! James Drummond-Murray and David Crawford-White will unveil how this unexpected discovery has given an insight into how the wealthy lived in Roman times. The talk will also introduce new community heritage project The Romans of Fane Road, a 20-month programme officially launched on 30 November.
