Menagerie at the Museum

Walk and talk with the animals at Peterborough Museum as you discover its furry (and creepy crawly!) friends. Follow a safari trail, meet some real-life animals with Jungle Jo (Monday-Thursday only) and make your own animal crafts to take home. Join in hands-on activities with Peterborough Museum’s partners from The Natural History Museum to find out what animals’ teeth can tell us about their diet, and why colour is so important in the animal kingdom. Plus! On Monday and Friday only, head to the Wildlife Gallery for our animal storytelling session at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, or 2.30pm: We’re Going on a Pliosaur Hunt! Our story starts in the Wildlife Gallery and we will travel through the different landscapes of the Wildlife, Ice Age and Jurassic Galleries until we find our Pliosaur. Suitable for under-5s.
