This City's Centre

Exeter residents share their views: a contemporary portrait of an English rural city, this video installation is part of an exploration of the tensions between public, private and privatised public space that is happening in Exeter city centre this summer. The project has been organised by Devon-based artist collective Blind Ditch and is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and Exeter City Council and delivered in partnership with RAMM, Exeter City Council, Exeter Phoenix and Exeter College. Accompanying events, Private Views and Public Art, Friday 13 September, 1 to 2pm, £4.50 (£3), Meeting Room A. Volkhardt Müller from Blind Ditch and John Wylie, Cultural Geographer from the University of Exeter, discuss the views and vistas of central Exeter as experienced through the lens of the public art project This City's Centre. www.thiscityscentre.net
