Margaux Warne examines the portrayals of orphans, foundlings and motherless children in Brontë’s novels, while also considering aspects of the author’s own childhood.
Warne is a freelance Art Historian based in France. She studied Art History at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and was a volunteer at the Foundling Museum from 2014 – 2016. Her research focuses on 18th and 19th-century English art and literature.
