The Battle of Givenchy, Gallantry and Lieutenant Joseph Henry Collin VC.
Peter Donnelly, Curator of the King's Own Royal Regiment Museum tells the story of the Battle of Givenchy, the men who were awarded medals for their gallantry and the story of Lieutenant Joseph Henry Collin VC, on the centenary of his death, whose medal is on display in the museum.
The talk, which starts at 2pm in the Museum's Education Room, access from New Street, Lancaster, will be followed by refreshments in the King's Own Museum, and an opportunity to see the Victoria Cross of Joseph Henry Collin.
