"Mequinenza, the origin of the landscape" Anchel Belmonte

Museums of Mequinenza joins the celebration of the European Heritage Days 2017 with two activities

For the first time Museums of Mequinenza joins the celebration of the European Heritage Days 2017 (European Heritage Days) under the motto "Heritage and nature: a landscape of possibilities". They are driven by the Council of Europe and the European Commission. This year's emphasis is on the heritage values in the environment that affect the lives and lifestyles of people and their contribution to their well-being and socio-economic prosperity.

The first lecture, under the title "Mequinenza, the origin of the landscape" will be led by Ánhel Belmonte, geologist and scientific coordinator of the Sobrarbe-Pirineos UNESCO Geopark. It is scheduled for Sunday, October 29 at 5 pm in the Museum of History of Mequinenza.
