Morgawr: An Experimental Bronze Age Boat Project

Evening Lecture with Jenny Wittamore Thursday 29 June - 7pm - 8.30pm In Cornwall in 2012 a team of archaeologists, curators and boat builders embarked on a remarkable project to build a full scale replica of a Bronze Age sewn plank boat. This world first in experimental archaeology brought about new insights into the maritime world in prehistory. The project curator tells us her story.
