Stories by the Fireside - February Half Term

Meet a shepherd who stumbles across some enchanted gold, an old lady who faces a terrifying monster in the Himalayan mountains and find out what happened when the Chinese emperor invited all the animals, including dragon and cockerel, to his party. Beth performs folktales, myths and legends with music, props and audience participation for young people and families to have an interactive experience of traditional stories. After the storytelling, Beth will lead mask making craft activity with a Chinese New Year theme. The session will take place in the Managers House between 10.30am-12.30pm and last for approximately 2 hours. Suitable for ages 4-11. £1 per child (please pay at reception). Normal admission applies (Adults £4, Concessions £3, Children (U16) FREE).
