From fly-posting to picture frame, from street to gallery, Hull Rock Against Racism posters present a powerful reminder of the continuing battle against racism. Originally part of a radical movement in community activism in the late 1970s, RAR in Hull brought together musicians, artists, trade unionists, students and residents to celebrate tolerance and diversity while campaigning against those who would destroy our basic human rights. Still packing a visual punch, these compelling posters are as relevant now as ever.
