To mark the ongoing centenary of World War I, the Mancunian folk-storytelling trio Harp and a Monkey perform an acclaimed show about the conflict. Expect far more than ‘mud, blood and trenches’ as stereotypical narratives are challenged. The show is touring nationally with the support of Arts Council England and the Western Front Association. Part of the First World War Centenary Programme. Supported by UCLan and Everyday Lives in War – the University of Hertfordshire First World War Engagement Centre funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
