Ceremonies, Repatriation and Shrunken Heads: Curating the Americas Collection

Laura Peers has worked with the First Nations and Native American groups to develop relationships around the Museum's extraordinary collections of treasures. Her work has involved participating in First Nations ceremonies, assessing repatriation claims and thinking about the Museum's display of shrunken heads from South America. She will talk about her work to curate these collections and then give an exclusive tour of the Museum.
