CLAWS: A Human History of Cats

Claws: A Human History of Cats explores the relationship between cats and humans from distant prehistory until the present day. It includes cats in prehistory with some of the oldest lion remains in Britian cats in Ancient Egypt, with a real cat mummy cats in Myth and Magic and Man-Eaters with a paw print of a man-eating tiger!. It runs until the autumn of 2016 and includes many specimens from our extensive natural history and human history collections, as well as loans from Bristol Museums and the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum in Exeter.
