Join us on a journey through 1500 years of history and culture at the award winning Museum of the Isles which will be focussing on the theme of 'Highland Innovation' for this year's Festival of Museums. Our local team of textile experts will be showcasing techniques that stretch far back into the history of Clan Donald such as, spinning, weaving, dying and carding. We'll also be hosting a poet who will be seranading us with music and poetry from the Clan Donald archive.
The Museum is set within the stunning Armadale Castle Gardens so why not make a day of it and explore this floral paradise which features plants from around the world and 200 year old trees. We promise you won't be disappointed by this cultural and botanical oasis!
