Join us for an evening with Dr Jeff Liston to discover the story of Alfred, the Star Pit and the excavation of the Leedsichthys called Ariston.
A sweeping story through 175 years of globally important fossil discoveries around Peterborough, that culminates in the latest results from Peterborough Museum’s Leedsichthys Project. There will also be a chance to explore our ‘William Smith: Colours Beneath your Feet’ exhibition, featuring an original copy of the first geological map of the country, with Dr Jonathan Larwood of Natural England.
Refreshments are included in the ticket price. Booking is recommended as places are limited. Please call Peterborough Museum on 01733 864663.
