A Medieval Muster

Join us on Whitsun Eve for a day of date-defying discovery as we venture into the colourful, distant past of St Ayles. Uncover the Middle Ages through a range of characters - such as fiery Sir Richard Hole, the dragon mascot of The Shire of Caer Caledon - discover local scandals and miracles through the Forth Pilgrims, and ignite the imagination through a variety of family-friendly crafts, demonstrations and activities. Our learned historical friends will bring the past alive with authentic re-enactments, while our museum gurus will be exploring the technology of boats and fishing in medieval times. This Medieval Muster is the perfect event to immerse yourself in the watery world of the Middle Ages.
