Family History Workshops

Looking for help with your family tree and want to learn more about available records and how to use them? Perhaps you have hit a brick wall and need advice on where to go next? Also discover what's new online, and learn smarter searching tips. Join us for our new and expanded family history offer, led monthly by Andrea Pettingale, local historian and professional genealogist. Each month will explore a different theme, with expert advice presented on a range of topics. Family History Workshops: exploring a different theme each month, with expert advice presented on a range of topics. 8 March 2016 - Criminal Records Revealed for Family History 12 April 2016 - Workhouse & Hospital Records for Family History 10 May 2016 - Writing Your Family History Workshops start at 11am and last 1 hour. Tickets will cost £5.00 per person or £3.50 with a Kettering Leisure Pass, or book 3 sessions for just £12!
