130 Years of Toys

Museum Galleries 11am-4pm, drop-in Free, suggested donation £1.50. People’s daily lives have changed significantly since the museum opened in 1886. In this special session to celebrate the museum’s birthday, you can have a look at how toys have changed over the past 130 years, thanks to advances in manufacturing and technology. Handle and play with our special toy collection, before making some historic toys to take home.
