Twilight Talk – Fashion on… Saint Patrick’s Day, In Celebration of Irish Fashion

In a special talk for Saint Patrick’s Day, museum curator Alex Ward, Curator of Textiles and Dress at the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin will give an overview of Irish laces, from the highpoint of their popularity in Edwardian fashion to the crochet lace dress worn by Phyllis O’Kelly, wife of the Irish President, on a Saint Patrick’s Day visit to the White House in 1959.
